The transfers happened as planned on 31 December 2009. The Hamilton Transfer Support Team is now closed, and will no longer be able to respond to your calls or letters about the transfers. If you have any questions about or need any help with your policy, please contact your policy administrator as usual.
What is a transfer?
A transfer moves all the policies and the assets that back them from one company to another. Our proposed transfer will move all the policies of Hamilton Life Assurance Company Limited (Hamilton Life)into an existing Aviva company – Aviva Life & Pensions UK Limited (AVLAP). We will also move any Hamilton Insurance Company Limited (Hamilton General) policy which provides long-term insurance cover, in the event of disability as a result of accident or sickness, into AVLAP as part of the same transfer.
